Send us everything. We’ll work through it one thing at a time.
Anything on your to-do list: a page to build, an automation to set up, a blog article to write and publish, the thing you meant to fix months ago… You add it to your queue yourself, right in your account, and your client manager follows up if they have any questions.
Right now, we’re working on the one at the top of your queue. The rest are lined up behind it, in the order you want them. So you don’t have to keep holding the rest in your head until we’re ready for them.
-
Big or small, it goes in the queue. A typo on the contact page. A whole membership site. Same queue. Nothing’s too small to send, and nothing’s too big to take on.
-
You set the order. It’s your list. Want the booking calendar before the logo? Say so. Changed your mind on Thursday? Say that too. We work it the way you’ve set it.
-
Waiting on you? Say the new website’s with you for review, and the week got away from you before you could open it. Nothing stalls. We move on to the next thing in your queue and pick the site back up when you’re ready.
-
Want two things moving at once? Add a second lane for an additional $300 a month and two of your requests move at the same time. See what two lanes cost
Say you send us ten things on a Monday.
A new website. A logo. A newsletter. Two blog posts. A booking calendar. The missed-call text that’s been on the someday list. Business cards. Review requests. Next month’s social posts. An invoice template.
Send all ten. We start at the top and work down. Small ones may clear in a day or two. Bigger projects take longer, and we’ll give you a timeframe before we start. Anything waiting on you steps aside and the next one moves up. Finished things come off the list.
With two lanes, two requests can be actively worked on at once.
More of what people put in their queueYou don’t have to arrive knowing what to ask for.
If you’ve added the team, you start with a kick-off call. It’s included. You meet your client manager, learn how your queue works, and the two of you sort your first items into an order that makes sense, so we hit the ground running.
Bring the list if you’ve got one. Bring the three things you’re sure about and the six you’re not. Bring the idea that starts with “I don’t know what this is called, but…” There’s no form to fill in and nothing to prepare. We ask the questions, you talk about your business, and by the end of the call your queue has real things in it.
Your first queue usually has a few set-up items in it. Connecting your domain and email, calendars, payments, user access, the basic settings. They get your account fully set up, and we do them for you, so none of the technical stuff is yours to worry about.
If a website is first, you’ll know how long it will take before any work starts.
You leave with your first list in order, and it isn’t yours to carry anymore. It’s with someone who already understands what you’re trying to build.
Mike had been through this with another place before he came to us. Here’s what he said about them:
I never felt like I had enough time, or was asked enough questions, to have somebody capture me and what’s important to me in my business.
The queue is yours from there.
The kick-off is where the list starts, not the only time you get to add to it.
Something comes up.
A new idea, a thing that broke, something a customer asked you for on a Wednesday.
You add it to your queue.
Your client manager looks it over and comes back with any questions.
It waits its turn in the order you choose.
You can move things around any time if something else gets more important.
That’s a person who already knows your account, not a ticket number.
You keep adding. We keep building.
Your website usually goes first…
Because so much of what comes next points back to it. Booking. Follow-up. Funnels. Review requests. They all need somewhere useful to send people.
We’ll tell you which one you’re looking at before we start.
Already happy with your site? Then we start somewhere else. The queue begins wherever your list begins.
This is built for steady progress. A list that’s moving instead of a list that’s growing.
After the website… the queue just keeps going.
The website is where it starts, not where it stops. A booking calendar usually comes with it. Once the site is live, this is the kind of thing people send:
-
Capture leads
Sales funnels, ebook funnels, and workshop funnels. Forms, quizzes, and surveys. Missed-call text-back, so nobody who calls you gets lost.
-
Stay in touch
Blog articles. Social posts, planned and scheduled. Email newsletters. Posts in your community, and setting the community up in the first place. Review requests, including video testimonials.
-
Polish your brand
Logos and brand guides. Business cards, flyers, and social graphics. (Printing is extra — but we can take care of most of your printing needs too.)
-
Run the business
Sales pipelines that match how you sell. Automations tying it all together. Invoices, proposals, contracts, and payments. Courses and memberships, including helping you write the course and get it published.
This is a typical example, but what you need is up to you. You choose the order, you choose what you need, and we work through it.
Need something that doesn’t exist yet? We build custom apps too. Not sure whether something belongs in the queue? Send it. We’ll tell you what’s possible. Everything your account can do
Want content marketing every month? Say so, and it goes to the top of your queue each month. Blog articles, social, a newsletter, posts in your community, whatever you want it to be — the words, the graphics, the setup, and the emails that carry it. So you’re still posting in November, not just the month you had the energy. It’s your queue, so it’s your call.
We build it. You decide what.
Ours to build
- You tell us what you want to happen. We’re the experts in the software, so we’ll map out the best way to get it done for how your business runs. Then we build it.
- Every client gets a free TechLab membership. The community and the weekly calls, included with your account. It’s where the how-do-I questions go, and the things you do yourself inside the software, like following up with your contacts in the CRM. It’s also a room full of people running a business, same as you.
Yours to decide
- What to sell. Who it’s for. What to charge. Whether the offer is right. Those are your calls, and they’re worth thinking hard about.
Need help deciding what to build in the first place? That’s where our relationship with BLUEprint Business Lab comes in. It’s the business-strategy side of the equation: offers, positioning, pricing, client journey, business model, and the decisions behind what you’re asking us to build. TechLab is included with FableForge. BLUEprint Business Lab is a paid upgrade when you want that deeper business support. Then we build what you decide on.
Pause it, cancel it, or scale it back. Nothing you’ve built goes anywhere.
-
It pauses itself.
When your queue runs empty, your client manager checks in to see if there’s anything else you need. If there isn’t, we pause the $300 — you don’t have to remember to cancel.
-
Cancel any time.
No contract and no minimum. You keep the rest of the month you’ve paid for, and we spend it finishing whatever’s already in your queue.
-
Lean month?
Drop back to just the software. Your account, your history, and everything we’ve built stay exactly where they are.
Questions people ask about how this works.
So what does “one thing at a time” actually mean?
Add as many requests to your queue as you like. We work through them one at a time, in order. “One thing in progress” means one of your requests is being actively worked on right now, and the rest are waiting their turn.
Can I have two things going at once?
Yes. Each extra lane is $300 a month, so two things moving at once is $727 a month total, including your software and your first lane. Two of your requests can be actively worked on at the same time. Add a lane for a busy stretch and drop it again when it’s done.
How long is a website going to take?
One to two months for a standard site; three to four with a store or a membership. We tell you which before we start, and for anything bigger than a quick fix you get a timeframe before we begin.
Usually the website goes first. Already happy with your site? Then we start somewhere else entirely.
Who am I actually talking to when I need to add something to my queue or have questions?
Us. The same people every time, and they already know your account. You add new requests to your queue yourself, right in your account, whenever something comes up. Your client manager follows up with any questions.
One thing worth knowing up front: you drive your own queue. We fill it with you on the first call, and after that you can easily add new things to it as often as you need to.
What kind of support do I get?
Everyone who adds the team starts with a kick-off call. It’s included, and there’s no form to fill in beforehand. On the call you meet your client manager, learn how your queue works, and sort your first items together. Account set-up goes in your queue and we do it for you. You don’t have to arrive knowing what to ask for.
After that: support tickets on your account, TechLab — a community, tutorials, and a live call every week, free and included — and our Tech Tutorials.
What if I have a quiet month? Or a busy one?
We meet you where you are. Busy stretch — add a second lane and drop it again when it’s done. Quiet month — drop back to just the software and pick the team up later.
Nothing is lost either way. Your account, your history, and your work stay exactly where they are.
